In 2017, Magna Carta and the Charter of the Forest formed the centerpieces in an exhibition curated by Professor Liddy held in the Open Treasure Gallery at Durham Cathedral.
In November 2017 Professor Christian Liddy gave a lecture titled ‘The Charter of the Forest in Historical Perspective’. The lecture explored the significance of the Charter of the Forest in its own right and also contextualised the document in relation to its much more famous older sibling, Magna Carta.
